How do you price tattoos?
Tattoos completed in one session are typically charged by the piece (variables like size, placement, time spent working, and detail impact the price). Single session pieces can range anywhere from $400-$900.
Tattoos that will taking multiple sessions are charged a $200-$250 hourly rate (detail, intricacy, and placement impact this the hourly rate).
If you are working with a budget, please let me know so I can work with you in designing something that suits your budget and brings you joy!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash is preferred, but I also accept Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal. I do not accept credit or debit cards. We do not have an ATM on-site.
What is your deposit policy?
Deposits are required to book all new appointments. I retain $150 deposit, which is deducted from the cost of the tattoo (or deducted from the cost of the final session, if we are working on a multi-session piece).
You forfeit your deposit in the event that you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, If you are 30 minutes late to your appointment, you decide you do not want the tattoo after I have drawn it, or if you reschedule the same appointment three times.
Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and expire within one year.
Why is your availability so limited?
I have been tattooing for 20 years, and it has taken a toll on my body! In 2020, I decided to go back to school to pursue a new career in mental health counseling, so I wouldn't be so dependent on tattooing. I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in German from Portland State University, and graduated at the top of my class. I also received my Master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Portland State University.
I love tattooing with a passion, and I am honored to work with the people who have pursued to wear my designs. I've found the most joy in tattooing to be the relationships and bonds I've made with my clients, guiding them through vulnerable and emotional tattoo sessions. This is why I've chosen to pursue mental health counseling and begin the next chapter in my life, transitioning from tattooer to mental health clinician. There are no plans yet to stop tattooing entirely, but my career change has significantly changed how I am able to schedule and work as a tattooer.
